Peter Långfors and Niklas Löfgren founded Nissan 200SX Owners Group Sweden in 1998. It was intended as a meeting point for Nissan 200 enthusiasts, and they had both started development of a web page, but when they got in touch, they decided to build a larger common website.
During 1999, the plans for 200SX OGS expanded, and the new goals were to simplify life for the 200 owners, negotiate discounts and arrange car shows. In December, 200SX OGS was founded as an official club. It came clear during the summer of 1999 that there were enough interested owners to hold a founders meeting with more than 20 participants.
The web pages are redesigned in April 2001, more information is published, and the four regional divisions are established. This makes it easier for the members to meet each other more often.
The first track day for OGS was held in July 2001. We were only attending other clubs track days previous to that. We are now about 160 members, and more than 40 attended the annual club track day.
