The cars
Nissan 200SX was sold i Sweden in two different chassimodels - S13 and S14. The difference between the two models is substancial since they share very few parts. The S13 was manufactured and sold between 1989 and 1994 and the S14 between 1994 and 1999. During the years the two models were manufactured both of them were given smaller cosmetic modifications.
The sale off the S13 came to total somewhere around a thousand cars, and about twenty for the S14 in Sweden. The price is to be blaimed for the low salesnumbers for the later model which would set you back around 300,000 SEK. For comparison, a 1989 S13 would cost only 175,000 SEK. Untill 1999 about 150 cars of both models had been imported from the USA and Europe, but since then the new regulations has caused the import to increase heavily, mainly from Germany. Today the the total number of cars is estimated to around 2000.
